Video of re-opening of bridge in LA

I've never visited LA and have no familiarity with the city or this bridge.

But what a bunch of animals taking over this city and others. I guess the LA "leadership" ordered cops to let them destroy the new $500M bridge, because they are no where in sight until an accident at ~15:30.

Yep. Went to school in central LA and worked there for a while but when purchasing a house i had to flee to OC, where i also grew up partially.

Edit; i still work downtown la lol. But from my home office!

I live on the Arts District side of this bridge.

The issue with LA (and the IE) is there are too many low life trash people who feel emboldened in behaving like this as the local political climate hardly dissuades such behavior. There's something about the culture of LA that tends to a yolo/idgaf mentality.

These dudes don't care that they are ruining a beautiful new bridge. 99% of them are uneducated and will work minimum wage jobs their whole lives. They pick up old Challengers and Infinitis for cheap and do these antics as it's the only semblance of power/celebrity they'll ever have.

I'll hopefully end up in the OC once I look to settle down. Would never raise a family in LA.

Street takeovers like this have been a big problem here lately. They have always been around but recently it's been almost daily with constant issues. A lot of cities are tying to pass legislation for stiffer penalties.

OK, Florida has some crazy drivers and some crazy individuals, I'll give you that. But try an organized takeover of a public roadway or bridge, just to fuck around, do donuts and burnouts. See how long that lasts. I guarantee you it wouldn't.

LA is a lawless liberal hell hole and the natives who grew up there in the 70's and 80's and of course before that, know it. I truly hope it can return to its former glory one day and I think it will. I loved LA even in the 90's, now most of my friends who grew up there have their sites ironically set on Florida.

It was fun when I was a kid, growing up there in the 60s and 70s, but I didn't know any better. I was a kid, and a trouble-making one at that.

Was good times then but would never want to raise my family there.
