Hi All,

My car is now a 2016 428i X-Drive Gran Coupe. I want to know a lot about my car. I am learning.

I am finding out that you gurus here call your cars different names -- not 328i but F30. So what is my car? Is it F30? F32? F36?

It's an F36.

F30 = 3 series sedan
F31 = 3 series wagon
F32 = 4 series coupe
F33 = 4 series convertible
F36 = 4 series grand coupe

Beautiful! I also have an F36 (2018). She is a BLAST to drive. That B58 (that's the engine in the F36) is all power. Mine is Black also. I have done many upgrades (the bug bites hard here lol). In just one year, I have spent over $6k in upgrades . . .and the list is still growing haha.

Welcome! And beautiful car. Trying to convince the DM to get a F36. I would love the versatility compared to our F32.

Actually, it is a metallic brown. At first glance, people always call it a black BMW.
