Schiphol limiting inbound domestic flights - labor dispute?

Looking for some input from the European members of this site.

I read a headline (can't find it now) that either KLM or Schiphol is limiting inbound domestic European flights to manage passenger volume, related to the recent surge in travel. Is this another way of saying a labor dispute is underway?

To the Europeans, any rumblings on labor disputes at:

Heathrow
CDG
Frankfurt
Munich

Thanks for any insights.

This headline is true, KLM resends partly empty aircrafts caused by heavy lack of personnel for some duties. This concerns ramp agents, loader, cleaner and check-in personal.
This has nothing to do with disputes, during the pandemic lots of guys were set free from their jobs and now, during the passenger amounts are rapidly increasing you have to face the truth, that it is more easier to release some people than to reemploy them.
For Germany its hard to say, until now heavy delays but less cancellations than expected. Tendency? Stable downwards.

Ground personel were on strike the last couple of weeks @Schiphol Airport. Total chaos.
Schiphol chairman CEO is a big big ecocentric champagnesocialist and needs to be fired asap imho.

I saw that airlines send empty planes on certain routes because its cheaper to fly them than to park them at certain airports

Thanks for the comments. Also heard similar stories of “delays” (work slowdowns or no-shows) at Heathrow.

Sounds like anyone with Europe trips planned this summer should expect delays.

Nice little video.....maybe a bit off topic...sorry....

We took a cab a few weeks ago from Rotterdam centre to Ahoy sports stadium. 5.4 kms( 3 miles?) 42 euros.

Cheers

Heathrow is often a bit messy. The recent Jubilee week was chaotic, but it was the same everywhere here. I wouldn’t change plans based on that.
