I have plan to get vorsteiner's v35 Cabon fiber hood on my E93 black sapphire.

I say just keep the CF exposed for now and if you don't like it down the road, just get it painted. The CF would actually match up pretty well with dark colored cars so it wouldn't look bad at all.

Being a black saph owner myself, I've always thought the VH would look better painted, just my opinion. Or how about painting the hood black saph, and leave the vents cf? If it's even do able.

Only time I wouldn't paint CF would be if I had sparkling graphite.

Personally I don't like exposed CF unless it's painted in a way where it reveals small portion of CF at places.
E92 is bit chubby to go with CF IMO.

I would paint just a portion of it so you get that CF look but a more subtle overall appearance.

I have CF splitters, CF roundels, CF diffuser and CF mirrors. It looks really good on black sapphire will all the rest of CF.

I would paint it if there are no other CF parts on the car tho.

i've seen Azrielsc's car in person and the hood looks real good unpainted. in fact, the contrast is quite subtle but i would do this if i also had an unpainted cf trunk
