PPF installers in the Tampa/St Pete area?

Any recommendations on quality Florida XPEL installers in the Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, etc area? There aren't that many listed on the XPEL site (Stunzeed, Filthy Unicorn, AutoPaintGuard, maybe a few others)

Not necessarily looking for the cheapest quote here...it's an investment on an investment so I want to make sure I'm going to a highly regarded installer that delivers quality. Any first hand experiences are appreciated. Thanks

Interestingly, the three quotes I received so far have all been within $500 of each other - about 9.5k-10k for full-wrap (xpel ultimate plus) and all windows tinted. My experience with getting estimates for anything is they are usually all over the place. Makes me wonder if xpel provides an 'average hours to install' to shops as the labor is what makes this so expensive.

Ceramic coating the ppf varies but is around an extra $700-1000. I'll probably do that myself since you can't use a long-lasting, super-hard ceramic on ppf.

I had the front clip and carbon fiber roof wrapped with XPEL, ceramic coating and tint done at Reeder's Auto Tint and ceramic coating in Largo for $4,500. They ceramic coated the wheels and treated the interior with a protectant at no charge with the PPF and ceramic coating including warranty and bi-yearly maintenance washes.

Cool. Do you mind if I ask some questions on this - Did they wrap the edges where possible? How is the overall quality of the install?

I'm actually starting to lean more towards getting just the front, roof, pillars, mirrors in PPF rather than full car at this point. I wasn't really considering the ceramic but that price is pretty good for everything. Thanks

Overall I am very happy with the PPF and it is wrapped around the edges in most places. The biggest issues were on the CF roof and some of the curves of the lower front bumper. I took the car back and they addressed the bumper issues by adding in some relief cuts and re-applying wrap on the roof with more material being tucked into the gap between the windshield and roof. Not sure if the roof peeling was due to careless use of the pressure washer tbh but they rectified it regardless.

Best shop BY FAR in FL IMO is COATERZ in palm harbor near Clearwater. I’ve had a complete PPF done many times at other shops, these guys exceeded anyone I’ve ever had done. They did a full ppf on my Durango HC, my redeye and now my M3. Call and ask for Corey , tell him steve sent you.

Hello! Looking for PPF / Ceramic and window tinting in the Tampa area! Can anyone provide feedback on shops and what they thought specifically? I see auto paint guard company website and it seems very good. I looked through the thread and there is some insight… looking for additional insight. OP who did you end up going with?

Not in Tampa but I stopped by Stunzeed and if you can get over the ridiculous name they actually did a great job. There were quite a few high dollar vehicles being worked on every time I stopped by (have had two cars done so far) and also received good feedback from other repeat customers while I was waiting.

For the M3 I had full front, fenders, pillars, mirrors, and roof done. The grill area was a little extra as there are a lot of small pieces to apply. Also full tint including windshield. Very happy with results and the PPF is doing its job well.

I will be dropping my car off on the 28th at Coaterz. They seem like a solid shop that do great work. I will report back when I get it back

I just moved to the area as well. 23 Jahre. I was going to go to Tinerz in Tampa. Anyone have any feedback on them? I hardly drive so I haven't booked an appointment yet. Pricing seemed very fair compared to what I used to pay in the Northeast

I've used them to tint my atlas and Macan S, great shop and got a reasonable quote for ppf as well. They were close to my house so it made sense

That’s crazy! It’s about a 4th of that price here in Poland
