New to board / Place to get a body kit in New Jersey
Hey everyone,
I’m new to the board and need some advice. I recently purchased a 2009 M3 Coupe. I’ve never owned a nice car in my life, so this is kind of exciting to me. The car is being delivered in late January and I'd like to buy a Hamann body kit. As of right now I have only found one site where I can order it. If I order it from the site I still need to get it painted and installed. What I am looking for is a place that I can order the kit, have it delivered get it painted and installed. If anyone can recommend a place that I can have this done or has any advice I would very much appreciate it. I’d also like to get a set of rims as well and would like to do it as that same time with the kit. Thanks in advance |

I would recommend ordering the desired parts delivered to your home and then seeking out a good body shop to paint match and install. Otherwise, you will pay a LOT more.
Most everyone on here buys parts and then finds a reputable installer. Then again, if $ is not an issue, do as you please. Sorry, but I dont know anyone in Jerz. Same goes for wheels. Especially since TireRack ships mounted/balanced/and with TPMS all set to go.

THANKS
I found a place that’s close to me. I purchased a Vorsteiner polyurethane front spoiler (I'm going to have it painted to match) and the Vorsteiner rear diffuser, the one that covers the entire bottom half of the bumper. I’ll post pictures once it is all done.
Thanks everyone for your help and have a good holiday. |

i believe those 2 pcs are not that hard to install. just use 3m double sided tape and screws to the mounting points. (i'm speaking from what i read because i'm thinking of getting the same mods.)

I found a body shop that caters to exotic cars, German, etc. and I'm going to take it their. I ordered the parts online so I hope it comes with the necessary pieces to install, along with directions. Ill post pics when I'm done.
After the body work rims are next. I'm liking HRE for now. Take care and have a good New Year. |
