BMW Performance SSK knob

I have the BMW Performance short shift kit and i was wondering if that kit is compatible with other knobs, say the M3 knob. I really like the M3 knob but i also like my SSK. if you could help me out it would be much appreciated!!!

the new one, my fault. i dont have the M3 knob but i do have the BMW performance knob

why would it be different?? wouldnt all performance bmw parts work together??
