I've been wanting to do pics like this for a while now, and when I got around to do the shoot, it started raining. But I post some of them anyway.

How did you manage to keep the tripod still?? (with bumps in the road etc?)

Two of the feets was on the car floor and the third was in the backseat pushing the tripod against the back of the frontseats.

I use a Canon 40D.
For this shoot I used the EF-S 10-22mm @13mm.
ISO 100, aperture mode (Av) @ f/5.6, so the shutterspeed ended up anywhere from 5 sec to 25sec.

I guess you could use the manuel mode too and experiment with the shutter speed.
