Blown trans/diff? xDrive 8AT Stage 3 340i

I've been having issues with the paddle shifters lately, I went to shift into 2nd from a red light racing a tesla, but the car hit the rev limiter and threw a trans malfunction. This has happened before, it doesn't sound good but the car usually recovers after a restart.

This time, it didn't. It immediately goes into 4th gear and feels like a slipped clutch. The car barely moves and then the revs will start to climb and then it will bang a gear down. There is a ton of fluid leaking from the rear diff so I had it towed to the shop instead of trying to limp home.

What are my best/worst case scenarios here? I've attached images of the rear diff and the XHP codes.

Build is in signature, essentially stage 3 340i @29psi on 94+meth

Thanks!

May have blown the transmission. Have you dyno'd the car

Thanks for the reply kern417. I haven't, but bm3 is reporting 630 lb-ft torque at clutch. Do you think I just got unlucky with my unit or is building it the best way? I haven't even started tuning for E yet and I'm mid 10s.

When a ZF8 jumps a gear is generally a fluid issue. Either low level ( most common cause) or contaminated old filter which prevents high flow of oil into a torque converter.
