Last week I bought a '17 430i M sport coupe. Nothing wrong with the car in terms of performance, but when I parked earlier today, I saw there was some sort of yellow fluid on top of my headlight dripping down.

I looked for other leaks but I could not see anything else. I find it weird that it was dripping from only one headlight and not both. Not sure if this could be brake fluid or something else. Then again, I found no other signs of leaks in or around the headlight, so I could not determine where the dripping came from

I called my shop and I'm taking it in on Tuesday. Any thoughts on what this could be?

The pictures attached are right above the headlight. There is some dried up yellowish oil if you zoom in.

After checking again, I found the spot where the oil was dripping from. The leak/oil was coming from the hood. The last picture shows the hole where the drip came from.

I can confirm there are no other leaks in the car

Could be anti corrosion coating, that stuff usually looks like something is leaking since you'll find is in nooks and crannies and odd places
