Trailer hitch diffuser or removal?
Does anyone make an aftermarket diffuser with cutouts for the Trailer hitch?
Or, can you “cover up” the trailer hitch with a regular rear diffuser WITHOUT removing the hitch completely? I am undecided what I want to do - nice feature to have but I’ll probably never use it. Ideally be nice to find a diffuser that is made for the hitch and makes the rear look a little more sporty. The OE grey diffuser is odd to me with the color.

Perhaps you should go with this aftermarket hitch that is hidden underneath the rear diffuser. It also retains the kick to open function. On the other side, it does cost more and you'd also have to consider your time to install it. Their wiring hookup is extra. I've opted to go with the factory hitch as my time is money, and I don't want to take the time to do the installation. Factory $550 hitch is worth it to me. |

Surprised there's no aftermarket cover to fit in the hitch with a bit of diffuser styling yet. Has been on my to-dos to mock up since I got the car but ... haven't yet.
Tempted to have the lower bumper panel wrapped in gloss black. Will likely be enough to 'hide' the hitch as well as bring some contrast back against my dark gray paint. '22 X3's have gone gloss-black for their bumper trims and it looks ace. Also, ALLBLACK, hang on to that MT e90... regret selling mine

I’ll never get rid of my e90 (until wheels fall off) … the car still literally drives like the day I got it. Still is fun to drive on the backroads and I still get compliments on how it looks.
