2021 Tune

Good morning.
Has anyone installed the new Carbahn or Dinan piggybacks on cars with new ECU after 6/20. Curious how it's working out.

It works great! Pulls much harder and is like an extra gear. My car was the first to get it.

Did you guys do the performance controller or the stage 1 flash. I don't see stage1 ECU flash yet available for 21'M2C.

Is this the Dinan option you guys are referring to?

Dinantronics X: LINK

It would be interesting to see some before/after dyno comparisons with one of these piggybacks. It would be nice if something like this truly eliminates the post-5K RPM flattened/decreased HP/TQ curves that BMW pushed to the M2C, compared to the stock tune on the F8X M3/M4.

That's the one and only thing that I find missing about this car, when comparing it to my previous F80. The M3 just kept pulling, all the way through the revs. However, you can feel the M2C stop "trying", well before redline.

If a piggyback like this does fix that, it would be a nice cost effective option for those with locked ECU's who can't (or don't want to) send their ECU out for a bench unlock.
