I know there are too many post about the My BMW app not updating

Hey guys, I know there are many post about the My BMW app not updating but the last time mine was updated was 12/26/21 and hasn't updated since. It really getting annoying. Do you guys think a software update at the dealer would do it?

Did you check your Privacy selections in iDrive Settings? Need to be set to Open.

I tried to find it yesterday but couldn't find it. Does anyone know how to get to the privacy section.

Mine is just slow to update.

The only useful function is the ability to check remotely if the car is locked and then lock it remotely if necessary. I wish the app could also raise the windows and close the sunroof in addition to locking the cars doors.

I don't understand the importance of being able to "honk" the horn or flash the headlights or turn on the interior ventilation fan....seems useless to me.

Everything else on the app is useless to me....BMW needs to go "back to the drawing board".

Lights/horn can be useful to find your car in a large parking lot.

Wow as soon as I clicked the first option and force closed the My BMW app and opened it back up everything was updated. Thanks again ergoyo.
