Horrible Door Ding...
Sadly I found this on my right rear door on Saturday morning... Must have happened in the parking garage over night... It's hard to tell, but it looks like the dent was right on top of a support inside the door, which caused the metal to dimple and actually protrude (looks like a pimple...) I had it looked at this morning, and fortunately our local PDR place can fix it (they do great work)...
I'll post a follow-up once it's fixed... |

That sucks but don't feel so bad, it could be worst. From the pictures it looks like it can be pulled/massaged back and you nor anyone else would be able o tell.

SUX.
I have had GREAT results with paintless dent repair places too. Even if they can't get it perfect, it will be MUCH better. GL

Dont worry man, I had one too and my pdr dude got it out no problem and cannot tell at all no matter how long I stare at the spot. Yours looks like it might have a pretty sharp point on the inside, but no matter what happens it will definitely be improved or fixed 100% by pdr.

As others have stated, PDR should be able to easily fix that. I had a much worse dent in my 2004 WRX along with 6-7 other minor dings removed for about $300. No sign now they were ever there.
I doubt it'll cost more than $110-$150. |

I had a ding removed from my M5 not long ago and it costed me about $150. Looks like it's about the size of yours, maybe even bigger, but it was creased inward.

I had that a lot of my last car , you can get it fixed for cheap its real easy. I live in NY so I had to get the Dent protection, pretty worth it, i think it was 300 for all 3 years?? u can fix up to 6 times a year up to 4 inches long of dings/dent.

Yeah that does suck. Pop that pimple out!
Does anyone think that the panels on the new M3's are a bit cheaper than in previous models?

I hate those pricks that have no respect for other cars as they open doors. Even in my beater i always use my hand to protect my door from hitting anybody next to me. Now if we can only catch them in the act. Although a death may occur... me or him!

People that aren't into cars just don't care or even know that other people do care.
It's the standard person oblivious to how he/she effects others in society.

I understand that, but can you explain this to me. It was my mother that pointed out to me. I park so far back in any parking lot, that I consider calling a taxi for a ride; and look what happened.
