Im debating lowering my E90. I have the ZSP and am anxiously awaiting my 19" ACS Type IV's with 235/40's and 265/35's.

Many of you have lowered your vehicles and I definitely think the cars look better and more agressive.

So I am trying to figure out, with having the ZSP, how much a lowering kit is going to lower the car (based on specific brands--please specify), and what the best option is that gives the look but has the least risk of losing ride comfort and performance.

Loaded question...I know. But any help would be appreciated. I dont want to be disappointed once the 19's are on, feeling like I have a monster truck....but maybe I'm being paranoid.

Go there and compare. There are several members who have posted photos of their cars with 19" wheels after lowering. You might want to do a search.

There are those who have 19" wheels with H&R Race Springs, which are the lowest nonadjustable springs. They usually don't rub with 265 series at the rear unless the offset is too aggressive, i.e., +23 or less, or if the spacers push the wheels too far outward.

H&R Sport springs and Eibach Pro Kit springs ride just about like your stock ZSP springs, perhaps only slightly stiffer. The stiffer spring rates on the race springs may require you to switch to aftermarket dampers to compensate for the extra bounce.

I know of one person who had H&R Race Springs and 20" wheels, but these rubbed.
