Ultimate Care expiration date on new car, but in service date pre-dates sale
Hi all,
Purchased my registered new BMW X5 with 7K miles on 02/14/20. X5 was driven by dealers owners wife and put in service on 12/19/19. Bill of sale says nothing about in service date, but specifies a new car vs CPO or used. They have given me cash towards my Sirius XM free year, and I also have a letter for same for an extra year of BMW connect when it expires. My question is, when I go in next month for my scheduled service, because of inservice date, I am afraid they will try to charge me. Anyone else been through this? Thanks in advance. |

You get 3 years/36k miles so you will be fine this year. Next year at this time could be an issue but you have a year to work that out with your dealer. They likely will throw in an oil change since they are giving you other items.
