I don't think the M5 would be out until 2025…..it normally doesn't come out the first year as the new 5 series.

Don't buy into all the feedback on 12V battery issues. Cars are awesome. I have the RS e-tron GT, which was a tough call over the M8, but I love it and it's a total beast. |

If i am gonna go electric I am hoping that the tesla roadster will be out so it will be an easy choice given how crazy fast it will be
For what is available now i think the audi looks the best as an electric car The m5 should be out in early 2024 i think given last gen was out early 2018 I was wondering if an m8csl will be in option by that time Will see what comes out Thank you everyone for the feedback |

I’ve had the HUD go out already. The numerous error codes that happen randomly. The cameras are not as good as BMW and are way too sensitive. Plus I’m dealing with a horrible sound coming from either my brakes or suspension right now and it’s got me really frustrated.
The issue is I absolutely love the way the e tron looks. I love the taycan too and struggled to chose one of those. I think both of those cars look better and more unique than the 8 series at any trim level. It just depends on preference, but with me, i like the fact that those 2 EVs stand out compared to even an m8. I’ve had like 5 BMWs in a row and we have our second x7 already so I’m a big BMW fan. I wanted something different when I got the AUDI and I’ve never had as many compliments on a car in the 4 months I’ve owned it as I have a with the audi and that’s why I haven’t traded it in yet. I think if there is wasn’t a shortage on m8s and m850s right now and a deal to be had, I probably could be convinced to trade the Audi in for one of those. |

I haven't had the issues though with the etron. Been a great car so far in almost 2 months. Agree on the styling of the car. It's an incredible head turner. I had a deposit on a 4 door M8 Comp coming in here in NY and bailed on that for the Audi. |

Compared to an 8 series the looks of the Panamera doesn't cut the mustard for me. Very few interesting lines on that car imo. Yawn
I looked but passed. Oh lots of choices for us all. |

But the taycan and e tron gt are much nicer than the panamera. The point is I feel only car enthusiasts appreciate and know what a beast of a car the m8 is. The EVs look so nice, they even grab the attention of the non enthusiasts

There aren't many M8s in circulation and they're just now really taking trend and combining that with the inventory shortages and dealer markups is making the price point of the M8 into the Porsche/ McLaren territories. The M8 is a true wolf in sheep's clothing and I'm OK with that. |

Some of the angles on that car are amazing I must admit. But some angles just make it look....cheap to me. I see so many lesser cars in that car as well. Some angles give certain areas of that car a look like other much less grade of vehicle.
Each to his own I guess. Even the M8 has few angle I'm not fond of. |
