Does my car look lowered to anyone?
I swear it seems to sit lower than pics I look at online, I bought it used with 2400 miles on it so I am not sure what the previous owner has done to it.

I think it’s lowered. The gap from tire to wheel opening is less than mine, which is stock. Are M8’s lower than M850i’s?

Definitely seems lowered from this pic. Are those the original tires? Beefier tires can definitely can give that appearance without lowering it but this does seem lowered.

This has me wondering what else could be done to the car if it has been lowered. I was watching my boost gauge the other day and it seems to be hitting close to 25 pounds at WOT, is that normal? Thanks everyone! |

they are stock wheels and I'm pretty sure it's the stock tires also so this confirms my suspicion about it being lowered. Do you happen to know what the stock boost level is? I'm wondering if it's tuned as well. |

Interesting thanks, it is definitely making more than 22, it is around 25 or 26 so it might be tuned. Anyway to tell other than having BMW look at it?

Did you get it from a dealership or the owner?

ECU tunes would be harder to detect without knowing what or going to BMW. If it's a piggy, you'll be able to find it with the app or by looking under the hood. |

The dealership I bought it from is 7 hours away so they probably have no clue. |

Thanks! I'll check around and see tomorrow what I can find. With it being lowered I can't imagine them doing nothing else, especially with the boost hitting 25+ pounds.

Compared to the white stock M8 with the same wheels in this link yours is certainly lowered:

Arent the competitions a hair lower than the standard M8?
Cant you jack up the back of the car and take a quick peek at thw springs? Usually aftermarket springs are different colors and have their respective logo on them. I would avoid dealer as to prevent the flagging you mentioned.
