TC Kline DA coilovers.
I just installed this today along with the camber plates and it's awesome. On soft you wouldn't even know and on 1/2 stiff it's perfect. I dropped it about 1 and 1/4 inch which is perfect. Much more and you will really have ground clearance problems. You could probably drop it another 1/4 to half if you really wanted to. The only thing you really need to worry about is front wheel strut clearance. With the adjuster rings low you can get quite close if you have wheels with a very sunk offset. I have K1s which are 8.5 inch and 40mm and have around 4mm left (this part stays static though so as long as there is room there is room)
I'm getting it aligned tomorrow and will be tracking it in December. The whole point of the camber plates is you can set your street camber to, I'll use TC Klines example, 1.5 degrees Then when you get to the track loosen the bolts and adjust it and it will go to 3 degrees. This will then increase your toe (for better turn in) besides the obvious. and then put it right back when your done. All without needing to get it realigned. If anyone has any questions about the setup or is interested in a set let me know. I'll probably add rear lower control arms soon so I can adjust my camber back and forth in the rear as well. Depends on how it drives next month.

I got 500/600 I might get stiffer springs in the future, more body roll than I wanted. But they might settle in stiffer.
Wheels are kosei K1s 4x8.5 40mm offset (15mil spacer in rear), 245/45 Dunlop Starspecs all around.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did this set you back?

is 600 soft and 300 stiff? also is the body roll more than stock? Is the ride quality comparable to stock? Thanks!

higher the number the higher the stiffness of the springs, which doesn't directly translate into a bumpy ride.
Body roll is less then stock as the springs are stiffer, ride comfort is comparable or maybe even better then stock on full soft.

Is there any noise with the coilovers? I heard that the tck make noises on rough roads at 40 mph or less.

Mine don't make any unbearable noise, I have a quiet muffled thud sound from the rear at very low speed but I only hear it with the radio off and then barely. Still trying to figure out exactly what it is but nothing anywhere near serious.
Where do you live exactly?

Yea the kit comes with new rear mounts if I remember correctly, firmer or you can upgrade to monoball mounts.
I have a BMW performance shop in Orlando actually, if you ever need anything let me know.

Some things are OK for the DIYer, but other like brakes and suspension should really be left to the well experienced and tooled. Considering how much the kit costs an extra 200 or so for installation shouldn't really be a bother.

Rotors and pads are nice in that there's really only a couple bolts and fairly straightforward on how they come on and off.
There's a lot more details with the suspension though, what needs to be disconnected before you unbolt the strut, what needs to be supported ahead of time to prevent damage. Knowing to compress the spring before unbolting the strut to prevent some serious injury (on these cars and e36 you could seriously seriously hurt yourself if you didn't). Knowing how to properly assemble the new coilover (no the instructions don't tell you) Then of course for someone without a lift, the half dozen or more times of getting the rear up, unbolting the strut to adjust height and dropping and re settling the car to get the height right. There's also knowing what parts you actually use and what parts you don't. I had half a dozen washers and bump stops left over that ship with the kit but are not used. Some people can do it, some people can't, sorry to make a seemingly simple question so complicated but there's no way to know if it's in someones ability or not.

ok, thanks for your help. I am stuck in a toss between leaving it stock suspension or a set of coilovers. Also, stuck between v3's and tck.
