Question about your dashboard
What do you guys use for cleaning your dash? I did the research, no topics about it yet.

~ i use 409 on a dark colored towel/cloth of all of the interior plastics ... (spray the 409 on the towel... not the panel).
if you use a interior protectant... i recommend 303 for the plastics. low gloss/sheen. 303 info: http://www.properautocare.com/303-16.html |

I use 303 aerospace...I like it as its not greasy, odorless and its supposed to be a good protectant. Another product I heard good things about is Lexol's Vinylex and Eagle One just came out with some sort of nanotechnology vinyl protectant/dressing.

I'm another fan of simply using a damp microfiber towel weekly. I do this not only to my dash but the entire interior and use 2 towels to complete the entire interior. I like the approach of staying ahead of any dirt or dust buildup. About once a month I apply 303 Aerospace Protectant to the dash and other plastic, vinyl trim.
Some weeks if I'm lazy I'll use one of my WW MF drying towel that is damp (but clean) from the outside and wipe the dash and interior trim. Works great and is quick. My interior still looks brand new on a 12/03 build date 330 coupe. |
