I’m not sure about his reviewing skills, but this guy edits some of the best videos I’ve ever seen! Not sure how he pulled off the “NBA on NBC” theme music, either, but he makes some of the best car videos on YT!

Is it just me, or does the fit and finish on the carbon buckets feel a bit low rent in the review? Compared the M3/M4 the upholstery doesn't look as tight and even the leather itself doesn't look great

Methinks it's just the color usage, does the m3/4 carbon seat use a perforated leather in the middle as well? That would've been nice with red in the m5…

Why BMW is unable to make a seat these days without wrinkles or loose leather is out of my understanding.

You look at this car that is absolutely brilliant and they are unable to come up with either a sewing design or a such pattern that will give the seats a PREMIUM and a longevive look.
Brand new car and the seats are wrinkeld and look -in my opinion- very cheap.

My 10 yo X1 looks better than that. I specifically pointed to the dealer that there is a problem and when I picked my 2021 X4 still couldn’t find a flawless vehicle in their lot as I wanted them to replace my rear seats. I have bubbly leather in the rear seats and hate them….

From exterior designers to the interior Quality Control people, everyone at BMW is blind?

It's leather—-it's not supposed to be perfect
what you're looking for doesn't happen.
and it does, it's exception not as typical.

Different kinds of leather offer different looks and feels... my bet is your 19 yo x1 has sensatec aka fake plastic looks like leather, and the x4 you're looking at has somewhat genuine leather (aka vernasca leather)... look at a higher model car with merino, the second you sit in it it wrinkles because it's real non treated leather so it's soft and meant to wrinkle.

Best version of the M5 they've made since the E60 finished production.

I can't tell if this is a serious question or not but in case it is.. yes he does. He talks about it and you can see it the background in his garage during the review.

Would be nice if BMW M had a fleet of M5CS for track days at their events throughout the U.S.

XLine or Msport? Otherwise it doesn't have real leather I think.

Sorry. No, it was facetious. I tried to communicate that with the emoji, but hell, I'm over 50.. I just found his multiple references to his CS a bit much. But, I'm clearly not the consumer he is trying to reach. I broke my rule (not for the first time, but I try) of not contributing snarky comments that do not add value.

Both XLine and Msport have leather. XLine was the luxury line.
Mine is an Xline in beige Nevada leather.
