Key Fob - Hatch
I have a new iX3. I am after some generic information/help. Is it possible to disable the operation of the rear hatch on the key fob?
Secondly, has anyone come across a rear hatch bottom lip protector? I am getting a little paranoid about leaving the car with the hatch adjacent to a hard surface and inadvertent opening. Thanks. |

You can set in I drive how far it will open automatically, you then manually lift the rest of the way. |

There is a programming conversion that can be done to require that the vehicle is unlocked first before key fob can be used to open the rear hatch. This is called the Two button logic for rear tailgate. This programming conversion would have to be performed at the dealership.
