Seeing mixed reviews on this. What are thoughts? I work from home so mostly casual driving.

It'll be garage kept. In NY so I'll put winter tires on in off season.

Getting this over the 550i for the ferocity. Curious how many use this as everyday car.

We have X7 as other car in family.

FYI I took moonroof off the build based on feedback to my other post.

Thank you!

Simply lovely daily driver. I honestly can't see how people would find this car uncomfortable. I drive on pretty rubbish UK roads and it's great.

My only issue is the exhaust noise isn't loud enough in the cabin and not as visceral as my previous E63S but the car itself is a sensational all rounder, which plenty of power to excite when available.

I had a M550i before my M5 Comp. The 550 is a little softer than the M but the M5 Comp is fine as a daily. It just depends what's more important to you, a softer suspension or knowing you can destroy 95% of the cars on the road.

I daily mine. It’s fantastic. Comfortable, crazy fast, just a dream to drive. Perhaps the only negative is that I know I’m not driving it the way it’s meant to be driven. I rarely get a chance to open her up for real. But when I do, the grins flow.

Why not? It's all about snow tires when the temperature goes below 50 degrees Fahrenheit or so. M5 is an excellent daily driver.

I drive mine roughly 70 miles a day, mostly highway. It's a fantastic daily. You'll love it!

Sounds like you are getting the LCI, and this might be the best daily driver on earth! Look at my review of my 2022 M5 Comp that I just purchased: https://f90.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1857281

Ditto here. M550 might be a slightly better daily. But, the M5 is, well, an M5. And the LCI Comp rides a lot better than the pre LCI base. They figured it out.

One more vote for the LCI M5C as a DD. Even in comfort, the suspension is a bit sporty, so if you do lots of driving in crowded cities with sketchy pavement, you will know you are not in an old school floaty Cadillac. Other than that, the car is extremely comfortable, capable and fun.

Slacker. Just passed 15,000 today. Not quite 9 months in. If I don't drive every day, I'm just not happy.
