Issue updating my iDrive

Hello,

I have a BMW 318i 2017 F30

I live in Egypt.
My current iDrive software version is
MB-001.050.002
TB-001.050.002

I went on bmw.com/update and downloaded the latest version UPD09051.bin and copied it on a flash drive. I tried updating my car but the process fails at 47% - 50%. It gives me an error message saying process unsuccessful please try again later. And asks me to turn off ignition and wait for the screen to shut off.

I went to Bavarian Auto Group here in Egypt and asked them to update my car. They replied back with a very strange reply saying “Germany didn’t tell us to update iDrive. We never update it”

So please help me out in this matter

Tried 4-5 different USB sticks

Its working fine but not updating

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem on a 2016 328i
