My summer tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 2 RFT. Of course, I have those damned Bridgeston "Turanza" EL42s the car came with on during the winter.

Yes agree with MOB, I was very happy with the PS2 RFTs on my E90 - never had a problem with handling our ride comfort

I'm running Non-RFT PS2's.
Fantastic tyres. Will not be going back to Run flat tyres.

Hi NFS
I ran a set of non-RFT Eagle F1's to replace the OE tyres after they were shredded in 10,000 miles! I based my choice on the positive tyre tests in both EVO and Autocar, but had to buy them online from Pneus as UK availability was (and still appears to be) non-existant. They are great tyres, but the rears were down to the canvas in 7,000 miles and then I couldn't get any replacements immediately. I eventually opted for Continental Sport Contact 3's, which I'm really pleased with, are reasonably priced and are available everywhere! Si. |

Don't be put off by me, will. They are a fantastic tyre, but I found the rears wore out a little too quick for my pocket! On a positive note, the fronts still have loads of life in them and are very grippy and positive on turn-in!

i'm running both types of PS2.
the RFT PS2 is about 90-95% of the standard PS2 so not so bad i do about 30K miles a year and don't pay for my tyres (lease) but i need to keep to RFT for thise reasons. the normal PS2 are on my 3.0 Z4 and i'm on my 3rd set of these. Bridgstones were $hite (just like on the 335d) the Pirelli P Zero Nero were good but wore out far to quickly. dario
