Tire pressure/alignment or tires causing sloppy steering feel?

Hi guys, though I purchased my M5 comp used I do not know what it felt like from the beginning unfortunately. At the moment it has different tires than OEM which are Extreme Contact™ DWS06 Plus which are an all season. Tire pressures are 35 in the front and 37 in rear which is pretty close to what BMW suggest I believe. I'm thinking of increasing the front tire pressure since the steering doesn't feel very direct its more sloppy/spongy feeling. Not sure if this is normal with the m5 comps since I have read others stating the steering doesn't feel direct, or its the all season (normally don't run an all season where I live), possible the alignment or tire pressure?

All season tires on a sports sedan... They won't feel like the proper tires that should be on a car of this weight and performance.

As Angryinch....I would go with the OEM * star rated Michelin pilot Sport 4S which are the tyres specifically designed for the car.

What car are you coming from? People say the steering is not connected or has no feel or feedback or is numb. Compared to what? Maybe your car has other problems. I have new M5C with 1200 miles. So tires are new. I do not consider the steering sloppy. At least one maybe two of my cars has direct old school steering. One is a manual rear wheel drive. I imagine it has plenty road feel. I prefer the M5.

To many to be honest with you. Normally I'm an Audi guy. I still have a rs3 and r8 but I did trade in a GLC63 for this F90 m5. That sub actually felt pretty damn good regarding steering feel. I think its the tires that may be doing this or alignment. I'm already itching to do 21" anyway.
