E92 Springs

Right, just looking for options really, I had the H&R springs that were on the car taken off, too low and too harsh. But now it looks terrible and, rather than spend all the cash on coilovers, im thinking of doing a compromise and finding springs that aren't as low as the H&R's (sport not race).

Thinking along the lines of 10-15mm drop on the front only, so doesn't drop it to the floor or affect the ride too much, but fills the arches a little better.

Anyone know the best options available?

Eibach has a really nice drop, not as low as the h&r sports.

Cheers fellas, looking on the eibach site seems there are 2 kinds, pro-kit and sportline, pro-kit seems the softer but still lowers upto 40mm. Seems low, thought the H&R's dropped it only around 35?

trixman,

Pro-kit is probably spot on for your needs.

Dont forget that e92 335i is already dropped from the 'cooking' versions and according to eibach themselves the lowering quoted will be less for your car as its part way there already. From previous experience the drop will be visually perfect without trashing the ride.

I have a set ready to install sat right here beside me but cant put them on yet as my new spring compressors havent arrived.

Haven't actually bought them yet. Im getting a little rubbing sound from the front with the standard springs on. I don't know if it's rubbing or what, but needs to go and get checked out at the stealer. Makes me think there was nothing wrong with the springs, and its in fact the current shocks/powered steering. (unless the shocks are buggered due to the lowering springs).

I'll still probably get the Eibach's in the new year, and I'll take some piccies with them on
