21 M5 Competition Alvite Grey - New member
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com I’ve been lurking this forum for a long time but finally created an account and thought I’d show you guys my first M5 competition. The car is getting PPF’d and ceramic coated as we speak so these awful pictures will have to do in the mean time. All the options except CCB, and sadly no MPE. Really thought I would hate the color, but it is something you absolutely can’t judge without seeing in person. It’s not brown like it shows in photos, it goes from a beautiful dark purple/grey to a slight bronze in direct sunlight. I wanted to find a problem with it, but I love it, and everybody at the dealership said they were obsessed it it. Like a dumbass, I hit an unmarked gravel road during my break in period and chipped the hell out of the rockers and a couple nicks on the door that have to be fixed while they install the PPF I’ll post better pictures once the car is back from CC and PPF but I couldn’t wait that long to make a post! The first two photos are at the actual prison where they filled The Shawshank Redemption, thought that was kind of cool. |

Looks great! Ordered my first M5C a few weeks ago. Went with frozen dark silver after a lot of back and forth. Still need to decide how to get it suited up once it arrives. Look forward to seeing your pics after CC and PPF. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on the new car.
I saw this color recently on an M5 here in Miami and thought it suited the lines of the car exceptionally well. It is one of those colors where pictures simply don't capture the true essence of the color. My current M5C is SG which is also very difficult to capture well given the many purple and green hues. Enjoy in good health brother!!

For the love of God get PPF on the front end and rocker/ rear quarter panel. This car seems to be a rock/gravel magnet and I’ve already had to do touch up with less than 1,400 miles. PPF is being applied right now. Other than that, just enjoy the hell out of it!

Looks great, welcome! Just picked my '21 Alpine M5C up a couple of weeks ago after years in the Audi world, loving the crap out of it. Mine has all of the M-Performance exterior carbon bits (dealer ordered it that way)...I think they'd look really good on this color, you should check them out.

I didn’t think I’d like the carbon bits so much but looking at your car I think I’m sold! Thanks for the recommendation! |

Stunning car! Alvite grey is a colour I could watch for hours in all kind of wheather conditions, in an attempt to capture all different shades and color spectra it throws back. The width of variance and the depth of the color is just simply impressive!

Looks great, congratulations on the car!
From my knowledge Alvite Grey is exact same color as Champagne Quartz, just a new name for it. Always was a fan of Champagne Quartz |

5er BMWs are the best looking new BMWs. No stupid canards, no hideous MEGA GRILLE, no overstyled Hofmeister kink, no honda civic center exhaust etc. Absolutely love it.
