Dipping door mirror when reversing

Hi folks, when I picked up my car last week, I'm positive that when I engaged reverse, the near side mirror dipped down to give a view of the kerb. I must have turned it off by mistake but I can't figure out how to enable it again.
Can anyone help?

I believe you need to have the mirror switch either set to the left or the right (can't remember which one lol), but if you've got it on the right move it to the left and then it should work and vice versa 👍🏻

Placing the switch over to adjust the drivers mirror does it..

Does the driver side mirror go down too? For me, only the passenger side’s mirror goes down when engaged in reverse…

The mirror adjusting switch has to be pushed to the left and only the passenger mirror will go down.
