Shaving the E90 moustache

Just couldn't love my wife's new Monaco Blue '07 E90 Sport's look, so I broke down and installed a set of Shadowline grilles. Much better now, and she even prefers the new look:

Yeah, I also had some Shadowline tail-pipe "embellishers" sitting around which fit perfectly. Next to tackle is the tail-light backup-light triangle which stands out so glaringly on the pre-LCI E90. Thinking maybe a tinted overlay might be the best solution. Anyone else dealt with that on a dark car?
