Blueberries, I'm being attacked by them now. We usually harvest 30 gallons in one summer.
Yesterday I thought I had blood in my stool…… but it was blueish black — that's how many blueberries I have been eating. [IMG][/IMG]

My little veggie garden patch is doing well. I live in an agricultural Zone 4, so nothing exotic. We have wild blueberries all over the place.

Carrots, cucumbers, lettuce, radishes, beans, zucchinis, green onions, tomatoes and herbs. And this year I'm getting raspberries.

Picked our gooseberries today and then the wife and I made 14 jars of jam. I believe these are by far the most labor intensive and painful fruit to mess with but they're worth it. We grow peaches, apples, grapes, blackberries, raspberries, hardy kiwi, red currants, jastaberries, honeyberries, apricots, plums, pears, gooseberries, blueberries, figs, and strawberries. There is one more type of fruit that is strange but I can't remember the name.

We also have a large herb garden, 6 peppers, 18 tomatoes plus other veggies.

I have 8 buckets on our fence and use them to grow fresh herbs, also two pots with a few tomatoes and strawberries. Not much, mostly just for the kids to learn from.

So we put in two raised planting beds this spring, my wife got the veggies and herbs started inside in the early spring with UV lights etc. We are already eating salads every few days. The cucumber and zucchini are going made, day of the triffids almost. Tomatoes, peas and beans are very happy too. There are lots of herbs mixed in and some nasturtiums to hopefully control insects.

I've been picking the first blackberries off my one bush for about 2 weeks.
Corn is 7' and tassled
We've run our course on zuch already, but the calabcitas are growing
Peas are up, from the pods I picked in December/Jan
I can't see thru the jungle that WAS 6 tomatoes
A single pumpkin plant has grown to include nearly a dozen (fruit?) and is ranging all thru the garden.
Chiles, lot's of chiles. Some I won't even touch.
Apples are beginning to fall. TART, perfect for cobbler.
Still a few months away from fresh guac

Were allowed to grow 4 oregano plants per person in the household here.....that my friend is a lot of "oregano" for personal use.

Indeed. I would estimate this to yield roughly +/- 4 pounds per cycle. That's a lot of Italian dishes!

I'm jealous. Love blueberries and they are the healthiest thing I eat.

Started with 3 raspberry plants two years ago and now it’s up to 30 or so. The first batch is here and I already hate them.
