BMC Filter

Hey guys,

Before pulling the trigger on a new intake system entirely, I figured I would give my Amex a break and opt for the BMC Filter replacements from IND.

I've searched both Youtube and this forum for DIY instructions. I can't find anything. I loosened the 5 screws over the intake manifolds, but still cant open it all the way. What am i doing wrong? Any advice / video instruction would be helpful

It's a lot easier to pull out the boxes completely. Then change them on the bench.

Where am I unscrewing from?

There is a strut like piece thats over the tubing connecting the manifold. I was hoping this was just opening, dropping, closing and enjoy type thing

remember to yank out the charcoal filters while you are in there.

I recently pulled the charcoals using this DIY. Did not remove the entire boxes; just lifted the lids.
