Need intake elightenment please.
Like I asked,
Can anyone on here who has done the intake setup please share whatever info they may have. I love the way they look especially when you look in to the grill of the M8. However, I have some questions. 1. Where and who did you get yours from? 2. What should I expect to pay 3. How involved is install? 4. Will it affect warranty and/or do you need to return to stock when visiting dealer? 5. Any real performance gain or more visual? And any other info you may have and pics are really welcome. Thanks in advance.

I'll upload a video and photos once it's installed. I know some people say you don't get much performance gains but from my experience the gains are all from the roll. Especially if you pair it with a full exhaust. Breathing is everything when it comes to high performance turbo cars. It don't believe it will void your warranty either. You should be fine. Eventuri is a pretty serious company, and they claim a lot of things literally on every post on their IG. Each post will say X amount of HP gained and O.X amount of seconds shaved off the 60-130 times. It would be pretty bad if these weren't all tested numbers being that they continue to post specific gains on all their posts. With their intakes being a few thousand dollars I would hope they are testing before posting and making claims over and over again. With that being said the sound that an intake will make is worth it in itself imo. The turbos will be whistling! I'll update and post again once I get mine installed in the coming weeks. Eventuri is super backed up. Been waiting over a month already. |

I know that removing the filters will definitely void BMW warranty. And most cars. But simply replacing them with another may or may not. It's because sometimes things get sucked up in the engine and if they can define that as the root cause; it's a can be an issue. |

Project Gamma https://shopprojectgamma.com 2. What should I expect to pay about $950 3. How involved is install? took me and my buddy a couple hours 4. Will it affect warranty and/or do you need to return to stock when visiting dealer? my service advisor saw mine and loved them. Didn't say anything bad about having them. 5. Any real performance gain or more visual? Looks great, sounds cool, minimal performance increase though |

I just picked up a black oem grill so it may be the best time to do both. Do I need any special tools or any recommendations? I used to love doing this kind of stuff on my own but as I got older, it became harder and harder to find time.
