21" wheel options

I am on the hunt for a set of 754m to build a winter tire set over the summer.

What are some other wheels people are running in 21" sizes? Alternatively, if you are thinking of selling your 754m wheels, only. Let me know. I had a deal go sour and may have to consider another local set, complete with tires, but I really don't need spare used A/S tires.

Hey buddy, I may have another lead for you, if I don't end up buying them first :>). The set I am thinking of has A/S on it right now, but still a savings vs. new. I grabbed these last week on clearance.

That’s exactly the setup that we have on our M50i. They are terrific!

That's what I ran on this winter in Seattle to get to ski areas. Handled like a champ.

I showed the online price to my local BMW dealer and they price matched (they had quoted ~$4,900 previously). I'm sure others have been able to negotiate better.

Those are $700 more expensive than the BMW winter set I got, also in 21". And I preferred the black, anyway.

They perform like a champ.

Wouldn’t you be able to save about $1500 to $2000 if you go after market?

What is the reason most prefer BMW wheel set?

Hmmm... doubtful. With discount, I paid $3500 for that set of winter wheels and tires. Don't think you could get four 21" rims, four 21" winter tires, four TPMS systems, mounted and balanced for a total of only $1500 to $2000. If you went down further to 20" or 19" rims, trying to save money, maybe it'd be cheaper.

Yeah true. I’m aiming for 20” winter wheel set. How much do they cost in BMW?

I am aiming for sub $3K but I have all summer to get them pulled together, used OEM wheels, new tpms and the sub $700 new-old-stock blizzaks I had shared. Not really worth my time to save a few hundred $, but I am doing it more so because I enjoy it..lol

Can find here. BMW makes a lot, but only specifies a few for X7. Then I'd buy from one of the discount BMW retailers.

This is the only 20” option that shows up for X7 and it seems to be 255 wide

Yup...that's what I'm leaning towards...no difference between summer and winter look

Reach out to a few parts managers at local dealers to keep you in mind come promotion time. I’ve had success that route. Last set of winters was basically half off. Even he was surprised they were discounted that far.

If I find anything from dealers I’ll be sure to post back. I’ll be in the market for winters as well.
