Resonator Delete - Should I buy this?

Hi Guys,

Is this the right piece to buy for a resonator delete? If I buy this is it an easy install for someone to fit?

Can't get it in the UK. Shipping from the US plus 20% tax doesn't make financial sense.

Entirely subjective. Did you like any of the sound clips you heard? Any other exhaust mods in place?

I'm here in the states and going to order the Dinan one since for the price it's worth a shot, and the clips sound pretty good

Just go straight pipe, after market x more than likely would it work as resonator is too close to the curve going to Downpipes.

Asking same as poster above said. I was debating the dinan x-pipe but could a meineke or any decent muffler shop handle the straight pipe? Doesnt look like alot of work?

Any shop should be able to handle it. They just need to cut the resonator very expertly so both cuts are as close to resonator as possible.

I am sticking with just the Downpipes for now. I am actually enjoying the dual personality of nice quiet interior with nice stereo (b&w + sub) and lowering the windows and going like a bat out of hell.

To be honest the sound of the M5 is never going to be as good as a high revving NA Porsche or Ferrari.

Yes, it's fairly simple.. although i wouldn't take my car to Meineke. Take it to a real exhaust shop. The straight pipe is cheap. Best bang for buck mod imo.

Would you remove the OPF or resonator to improve noise?
I have bootmod3 so the OPF software issue can be toggled on/off easily.

Can the same be assumed for a car with cat less DP? Definitely wanting a bit more noise but I don’t want to spoil the comfortable cabin with drone

I am curious also about just deleting the 4 cats with downpipes and leaving the rest. How is the sound? Not looking for really loud but stock is mild enough to allow for more.
