Going to the Track on Sat

I'm going to Maryland International Raceway on Saturday to get some baseline runs in. New to me 2018 BMW M5 CCBs carbon roof, PS4s, Project Gamma Intake, E15 fuel, no tune.
I'm not new to the 1/4 but will be new to running this car at the strip. 10.85 @ 129.86MPH is my best time on Dragy achieved using Launch Control on a really crappy surface, so I hope to get some better times. Any tips or recommendations, like tire pressures etc would be helpful.

I remember the days of running the 1/4 mile at MIR. I use to go there in the 90's with my C4 Corvette. Attached is a picture back in 1992 on a Friday night. I was consistent at 13.7's with my 91 C4 Corvette and I won that night.

When I tested my 60-130mph dragy times from a 40 roll, it was suggested that I let the comp shift itself and they were right it did improve my times. I started in manual mode to get it at 40 then when rolling before redline switch to auto.

What I'm curious to know is when you use LC don't you have to be in Manual shift mode then at what point do you shift the lever over for auto shift?

I have always manual shifted after 3rd gear for better times but one of these days I'll try full launch control and let's see any difference.

LC u are in manual but car auto shifts as long as u have the flags and as soon as u let go off gas it goes to manual.
