Paint code and variants
Help!
I have had my rear bumper replaced and painted and the colour variance is noticeable in daylight and extremely noticeable in the night under lighting. The car is Le Mans Blue and the paint code used was 381. Under the bonnet it says 381/5. Is 5 the variant as the bodyshop has just used 381? Thanks for your help. Steve |

Paint code
Stevie, I don't know aboput Le Mans Blue, but I recently had a new bumper on my Sparkling Graphite E92. The paintshop came outside with a "swatch" of different versions of paint colours and physically matched my old bumper with one of the paint sample. I was told the SpAg was easy to matchas there were only two variants. Evidently with one of the Peugeot colours there were over 50 different variations of the same paint code!
Suggest that you ask another bodyshop about variations and matching your colour. Best of luck. |
