I'm a newbie to Bimmer's. I have a 2021 MSC and I just installed a Burger Motorsports Stage 1 piggyback module which is supposed to work with the S55 and on first startup "DSC off" is illuminated. Does anyone know if this is the module's programming to switch it off? Am I correct that with a Stage 1 it would be better to have it off? Or will the ECU do some witchcraft after a first drive and switch it off automatically? Just wondering if for some reason the 2021's have an issue with even a piggyback being installed--I know there are no flash tunes available. Thanks.

following as I have my 2021 M2C ZED package arriving on the 15th & would love to add JB4 after proper break in , but don't want to run into any issues..

Whew...okay, no replies so I'll update myself. ECU did it's witchcraft and on a test drive (don't really have any time to give it a good run) to make sure I can get to work tomorrow it reset and all is well in Wally World. As for the results I can tell in Sport + the boost comes on harder and faster, the car is noticeably quicker. I think per BMS Stage 1 is roughly 480HP/TQ at the crank. Which is all I wanted...just to get back what BMW held back.

Nice to hear feel the difference after the time.. I have a flash tune by Dinan and they quote similar gains which like you said was needed and what you were looking for. Good luck with the car as you will the driving experience!

I have a BM3 flash tune on mine but you should be able to adjust the DSC settings in the M modes or just hold the button if you want it on or off no? If you cant get it back on at all I would contact the piggyback company for support.
