Cars and the Watch Connection

Great article on why many who love watches, love cars. How about you?

I wonder how many here have seen and enjoy this connection. Both cars and watches work for me for these same reasons.

My E63 M6 and E24 630CSi would be my favs, tho my E30 and E46 are right there too

For watches im a fan of history of mechanical watches and in particular sports diving, so I have several in the collection as im not a flipper. Ill always luv my 16610 submariner, but its retired as I enjoy larger watches, so I have several Panerai, my 320 being my fav when its not the summer 🤣
How bout u?

Duh?

Athletic people loves competitive sports.

Bankers love money

Gear heads love cars and mechanical things

I would be more impressed with a research that suggests car enthusiasts love Scotch and Cuban cigars.

wait....I love competitive sports, money, cars, watches, tools, whiskey/whisky, and excellent cigars. Oh and art, the female body, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Not sure what that says about me!?

m630 Watches: Tag, Omega, Breitling (chronos with leather bands); cars: BMW z3/4 and most M series but general German craftsmanship; I have restored many British cars of the 60's and 70' which I loved.

LOL. Go to a shithole like Scottsdale or Vegas and every LA-reject in a 10+ year old Lambo is smoking a cigar. It's quite laughable.

There are lots of good whisk(e)y's that aren't expensive. Single malt's are great, but there are some great blends too, a blend after all is made up of single malts.

I like Scotch whisky and I like Irish whiskey, I also enjoy bourbon, Japanese and Canadian whisky's.

You forgot to mention the obnoxious watches. Definitely need ridiculous shoes, a Lambo, a cigar, and an obnoxious watch for the full reject package.

If someone else is buying I'll take a Dalwhinnie but if I have to pay, I'm happy with Dewar's

anyone been watch the Nekkid Watchmaker on YouTube ?

if you like watching YouTube videos of transmission and engine builds you might like seeing a watch disassembled, cleaned/repaired.
