Resonator delete on 2020 330i?

I'm trying to get more pops and burbles out of my 2020 330i (US Model). I have already coded sports+ and opened the exhaust flap, which has improved the number of pops and burbles considerably. I am now considering removing the resonator. Has anyone already done a resonator delete? Will there be any difference?

A shop I spoke to told me that there should be two resonators and that removing them both would add a considerable amount of pops and burbles

Huh. That's different than what my shop told me when I tried to get it removed after I got my car. They did a full custom setup on my MK7 Golf R back in the day, so they're really good but they couldn't do it because BMW fits their cars with wider pipes than most shops carry so they suggested I go to a shop that has their own fabrication area. They did tell me that there was only one resonator and it's a chonky boy so removing that should give it some extra sound. Seeing as there are no options out there really in the aftermarket exhaust world right now besides the BMW one and a few super expensive ones, seems like a good option to start with removing the resonator.

The circled piece on that diagram is not a resonator. It's an OPF filter from an EU exhaust system.

The resonator is the smaller piece slightly further back towards the tailpipe.

From the cat to tailpipe is one massive piece. So if you're removing any parts, you'll need clamps, welds etc.

I removed the OPF and resonator on mine. It sounded crap to be honest and I returned it back to stock.

Pops and crackles are usually obtained via parameters in ECU remaps.

The cars for the Russian region don’t have OPF and i don’t have to do ECU remaps.

Do you recommend the resonator delete? Does it actually sound bad? Also do you notice an increase in popping and burbling while driving/shifting or only when in park?

In which case - the diagram is not of a Russian exhaust.

I have had no luck in getting this done, every shop so far says they don't mess with the oval pipes
