Central air flow wheels lighting

I have just noticed that the central air flow wheels for dash centre vents do not have background lighting on my car. My car has the the 2 plus 1 zone as opposed to the 4 zone heating. Just wondering if anybody out there with the 2plus 1 zone system has their wheels with background lighting. Just wanted to see if I have a fault or if Bmw are just being a bit mean

What model/year is this? My LCD panel looks different than yours too, yours look like like an LED backlit panel not full color LCD?

Judging by the celsius temps, this isn’t a US model. In the US models, basically every g05 comes with the convenience package, which has 4 zone climate. Interesting to see, nonetheless.

It is a Uk model on a late 2019. Kind of wishing that I should have gone for the 4 zone air con. A little bit mean of Bmw not to light the wheels.

I have four zone and the wheels are not lighted. MY21 in Germany.

EDIT: sorry I looked closer today and actually they are lighted. I would have just deleted the post but didn't know the protocol.

Is your temperature/fan level display colour (white/red/grey) or monochrome (amber)?

here in the US, ours has 4 zone climate control. The front LCD display is colored and the wheels are lighted. In the rear, it is not a color LCD, and the display is in amber.

Wheels lighted fore and aft on mine (MY20 US 40i, 4Z) - and I just realized I have lighted seat backs !
