N54 Power steering Reservoir

Why my Power steering Reservoir shown in attached picture is that kind of model?
On other cars i see regular reservoir wich can be turned off by hand, but my reservoir is meant to be opened with wrench?

On the reservoir say 5nm of force and that is chf11 wich i understaind is power steering oil reservoir wich i must open to check oil level but i dont know how.
Does anybody have youtube video link to se how its open?

Because you have active steering, I have the same.

You don't need wrench to open, just turn the cap, usually it should be hand tight.

No video but here is a pic opened, the whole cap turns off.

tnx i will try to open it by hand. I have active steering yes.
I occasionally have very loud scratchy noise when turning steering wheel so i assume to have low oil level.
I have green shcf11 oil at home already. Is there a oil level to see how much oil is there?

I hear you should replace the entire reservoir because the built in filter is dirty and unserviceable

Aha ok, this ive been hearing in the past of this built in filter.
This loud scratchy noise is like there is no steering liquid in the system.
But noise seems to come out right under the hood/wiper blade.

One should replace the PS fluid every 50,000 miles and probably the reservoir as well. It's not pricey. So, might as well.
