Yes similar to the M3/M4 Carbon Bucket seats. Not sure about the rear seats.

Curious how it will fair against competing similar cars on a track, I understand the target audience are probably not the track rats or at least they have more than 1 car but for some of the few ones who want an all around do it all kind of car It could be a nice competitor to the amg's and RS cars.

This is going to sit around just like the 200+ M8's for sale. I don't get why BMW hasn't figured out no one wants to pay that kind of cash for a Bimmer.

They'd be better off making an $80/90k m3 estate/wagon

Yes, in fact, they were specifically mentioned by Markus Flasch in the Instagram video as "motorsport-style yellow headlights", which some of you may remember mirror the style seen on the G82 M4 GT3.

So while not a performance highlight, it's a styling highlight that will be specific to the M5 CS

Because bmw dropped the weight and somehow thought it was a good idea to spend time on an M5 Cs w ccb's and more track focus while not telling us a word about the new G80 M3 that many will track because they awkwardly increased the weight and spent 0 effort on what mattered.
