Hey!

Gave coding via Bimmertech a try for the first time today. Was quite straight forward but nevertheless pretty nervous of messing something up.
Took all the necessary precautions and hooked up a battery charger to the car and turned everything off my cellphone except bluetooth.

Coded the M logo bootup in the iDrive screen but did not manage to code the M-performance text in the cluster. Im wondering if i need to have the extended cluster to make it work? I have the one below.

Also, what is peoples favorit tweaks when it comes to coding bmw:s? Would be neat to make a list. If you have something to share, please do tell and also wich car/equipment it would be compatible with!

My favorites were:
1. Disable active sound design (ASD)
2. I have a GT - I coded it so I could close the tailgate from the remote/trunk button. (This is awesome in a world with COVID and Curbside Pickup)
3. Tire air pressure display

Screen disclaimer on start up, tailgate closing, radio max volume at start up, folding mirrors when locking, turn on rear view camera at any speed, mirror dimming compensation with tinted rear window, cold/warm checks and LED active for complete change over to LED bulbs, rear view camera hitch view option, tire temperature, and a few more that I can't remember.

I coded way more things on my f30 328i because it had way less, but on my 435i m sport I have coded

us side markers off (don't care/kept my reflectors)
daytime running lights set to led/always on
rear daytime light on/set to led
m idrive start up (fun!)
idrive start up warning off
rolls royce tones
close windows/glass roof w/key fob

I think that might be it.

Cool! I also tried coding the folding mirror when locking, but nothing happened. Does it require something else than just elecrically manouvered mirrors?

Do you have folding mirrors?

I’ve code the following that I can remember:
Digital speed indicator
Door handle lights on when reverse is engaged
Folding door mirrors
Auto unlock door when engine is switched off
Tyre temperature
