Looking at 2019 CPO X3

Just joined the site, (was a previous BMW owner). Had an old 2002. Looking for a smaller SUV and looking at Mercedes GLC300 and BMW X3. Have found one with less that 10,000 miles (2019) with leather, HK Premium, and other options.

Been reading comparison on you tube but one advantage of BMW is the dealer is local versus driving over 30 miles to Mercedes dealer.

Since my wife will be a primary driver, ride is an issue. I know about RFTs but both Mercedes and BMW have them now. Id probably ditch them when they need replacement.

Looking for any comments, good or bad.

thanks

19" RFTs are no problem at all. Even the 20" are fine for me. Way overrated topic IMHO.

If you are looking into a 2020 you should consider one with the full digital dashboard as those are the cars having iDrive OS 7.0 which is wy more modern and supports also Android Auto after an update.

Cars with iDrive OS7 have been produced! after September 2019. But they need to have the Connected Package Pro otherwise they are still on iDrive OS6.

You identify them if they have this dashboard:

Not sure if you've already bought or not. I've owned used BMWs for the past 20 years. We picked up a 2018 X3 for my wife last week. Her first BMW. It has the 19 inch run-flats. It is surprisingly comfortable while still competent like a BMW should be. She's a happy camper. Now, I have the bug for a replacement BMW.

We got a 2019 X3 a year and a half ago. It is my wife's vehicle, I drive a Z4. The run flats are fine. I prefer them on my wife's vehicle for piece of mind. The X3 is a great machine. I don't find the differences between iDrive 6 & 7 to be significant enough to deter a great deal. In fact, I often prefer the simplicity of iDrive 6. Enjoy!

Welcome to the site Isawelvis. I have a 2019 X3 with 19" run flats and both my wife and I find the ride very comfortable. Handling is great and the layout is very functional. It has been an excellent vehicle.

You can always change tires. In Finland, with crappy roads no one drives with RFT's.
