anyone else struggle to get things shipped from AutoTalent?

I ordered an Fi exhaust during their Black Friday sale and now almost a month later it still has not even been shipped. Tried calling and emailing the company, was initially told it would be sent out Dec 10 with tracking and still nothing... I understand delays due to higher sales volume and COVID, but it's starting to feel like I'm never going to receive what I paid for.

Anyone else have a bad experience with this company? Or experience mega shipping delays for parts?

I ordered a dinar heat exchanger from them over the summer. It took awhile to receive the item, but that's because it was backordered. I did contact them on several occasions and they were always quick to respond.

Did they already charge you for it? I've stopped doing business with these aftermarket companies that charge before the product ships.

Hm, my item was not stated to be backordered. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not but I did receive an email last night that my exhaust will ship today or tomorrow at the latest. Once I get a tracking number, I'll feel better lol.

I think some of this might be outside of their control but this should be communicated.

Well, another promise to ship my exhaust has come and went. I am a pretty understanding person when it comes to delays but this is now twice they've told me the exhaust will be sent on X day then radio silence. I've spent nearly $5,000 CAD with this company and it will absolutely be the last time. I am tempted to just ask for a refund but that means I've missed out on a Black Friday sale price on the exhaust. If any other vendor here is interested in my business and willing to price match an exhaust I would be happy to purchase from you instead.

Yikes, sorry about your experience. This is why I try to avoid purchasing parts from 3rd parties and go directly through the manufacturer whenever possible. Yes, I might miss out on a sale and pay a few extra dollars, but I'm definitely not up at night wondering if/when my item will show up or how I'll deal with a warranty issue should there ever be one.

Totally agree. Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, you can't buy from FI directly but auto talent is listed as one of their authorized vendors

Merry Christmas to me..

They are a legit shop and I've done business with them before with good experience. It was a special order item with a known lead time and I was updated along the way until delivery.

The pandemic did mess up a lot of the overseas shipping where they are even bidding on containers to find space. I believe Fi is manufactured in Taiwan.

I'd ask them if there's any issues going on on their end. IMO if there's problems with fulfillment right now and asking the customer to wait is acceptable. Promising a ship date then not actually shipping it, however, is not.

I've been completely ghosted after the second promised ship date, tried emailing and calling again to no avail. No real explanation regarding the delay or why this is happening. I decided to charge back my credit card since I can't get in touch with anyone to even get a refund. Absolutely atrocious customer service and not a way to do business. Major thumbs down for this company.
