Aluminum Waterpump

I've Searched and Searched and have not found a Definitive Answer.

is there "Any" Aluminum Water Pumps Available for
N54 335i E93

I'm finding 1 from Pierburg but is it for a 328i (See Pic)
and will not work for 335i ?

Not as far as I know. I believe the 335i came with a plastic pump due to heat. Turbos do end up running hot.

Heat is the reason the plastic ones crack so often.

A while back, a guy made a thread on here about a Chinese water pump from o'reilly that was fully aluminum and had a lifetime warranty. I was surprised it didn't take off. I've never heard of any other options. From every other place, regardless of the brand of pump you buy, it'll be the same Continental pump in a different box.

My waterpump and thermostat were replaced 4 months ago, just before I bought the car. I plan to keep it for quite awhile, and when it's needed, I'm going to grab this one too.

If ANYONE decides to go this route....or has already and done so quitely....please scream loud about it!!! If this outlasts the plastic stuff I think we should all know immediately!!!
