Gauge cluster going nuts and loss of power

Hey guys, just had SSK and clutch pedal installed. But half way home my speedometer and RPM cluster started going nuts about half way home from the dealership and close to my house acceleration was jerky and clear loss of power. Tow truck on the way but seems pretty odd. Car still driving but clearly not normal. Any ideas? It's under warranty so nit really concerned. It sat overnight and got snowed on but wasn't driven in the snow.

Something possibly got disconnected while they did the install ⁉️

I'd troubleshoot with that in mind

Yea, or cold weather killed a sensor. No check lights or notifications blinking. I'm sure they will get it. A little sad to see it going onto the flatbed.

The diagnosis was a failing battery covered under warranty, down to 35% charge. Low temps can kill a battery on the verge so that's probably what happened.

Hmm. I didn’t think batteries were cover under our warranty. Good to know.

Sounds like the shop disconnected the battery and didn't reconnect it securely. That would explain the car freaking out if the connector was loose and also explain how the battery got so low on power. Otherwise you would have seen a battery warning when starting the car or it wouldn't even be able to crank over and start at all.
