Has anyone found an app that starts the engine for the X1 or a way to code the existing app. The new 2 series even comes with a key fob that starts the vehicle. Very useful in cold weather.

You do know that the lack of remote start in BMWs comes from a BMW corporate decision, right? They are following German policy for a cleaner environment. That's why it's not an option for 95% of their product lines in ANY country.

Well for 2020 and 2021 most of them now come with remote start including the 2 series which is the least expensive Bimmer available in Canada as we don't have the new 1 series.
