You should buy that right now, I wouldn't even ask questions. Great deal on a OEM 6-speed E92, sport, and the baby 18inch, M3 competition wheels! Given a preliminary check and test drive, and most major things check out, I would move to purchase very quickly. If I was in San Diego still I would be test driving that car right now!

Seems a bit high for me considering the mileage. I would probably offer no more than $4000 for that. However, if you looking for something with manual and having trouble finding maybe you are willing to pay more for it.

Weird shift knob, do not want.

j/k Looks clean, worth a look if you want another one. There probably aren't a lot of low mileage e9x left.

I agree. The pics look beautiful, it's a nice looking spec IMO, 6 speed makes it more desirable IMO.....but the mileage is high to me for that price. 4k seems a bit low though, again, clean title, 6 speed. I'd try to end up @ 5k. What does it "book" for?

Depends on what maintenance has been done. At that mileage, I'd be wondering about the suspension. I'm at 130k miles and my took my car to get front suspension work.

Manuals are always worth more. mileage does seem high but even the pictures show it as clean.

Do you really want 2 of the "same" cars. How hard are manual 128s in your area to find?

Exactly. I'm probably needing back suspension work, night had not been recommended to me yet buy my shop. So I'm figuring the back is still good. Took it in today for front struts, control arms, and the front driver side cv axle.

I would want to know if any suspension work had been done. If not, is only offer around 3000. You and I both know it needs it, if it hasn't been done.

Having been in the market until last week, I'm gonna say maybe $5k? $5500? looks to be in great shape, but don't overpay. And of course who knows what the clutch is like.

Smart play. Payments on depreciating assests such as cars is a fools errand. Yes, I've been a fool many, many times. But if I could do college over again I'd have opted for the car payment free option....10 times over.

Looks clean, love the color combination, MT and Style 197's, I had them on my E46. The mileage isn't great and I think that $5.5K is realistic but check book value. In hindsight, I probably could have been happy with a similar 328 but was seduced by the 335's N54.

I wouldn't say it's a screaming deal or anything but 4k is a lowball for a clean manual coupe. 142k is dead-on average for a car of this age, and its at the mileage where many of the key items may have already been replaced. If it's had the suspension gone thru and clutch replaced its better off than a car at 120k that hasn't.

I found 1 but it was like mines and out of sulev warranty. I love this chassis so much. I love the engine to, one of the best looking engines when you open the hood in any nonM BMW. Yes I would. A Montego Blue with Saddle Brown Steptronic E92 LCI, Forest Green with Grey Interior Standard transmission E90 PreLCi, and a Silverstone over Black interior Standard transmission M SPORT E90 LCI. Those 3 328i variations combined with my SHwartz over Black interior Steptronic and my LIFE IS COMPLETE.

Also I mentioned clutch just due to mileage but if it was not abused or owned by an idiot the factory clutch can easily have 100k left in it after 142k miles driven. I don't know of any other automaker that equips stouter factory clutches than BMW. Test for this is to put it in 4th at a standstill and try to start off normally. Car should stall smoothly and quickly.

Show up with 5 and see what they say. Definitely a good deal if it drives good and doesn't have anything major wrong with it. Manuals down here command a nice premium idk over there

It is a southern, ok Cali car. These vehicles don't have the salty roads of you Yanks, and Canucks. So less suspension tear.
